6. The shops are Gallons (greengrocer), Andersons (newsagents and stationers), R.H.Price (butcher), and E.H.Butt greengrocer). The vacant shop next to Price's became Blom's (chemist) and next door was Vann's dental surgery. St.Oswald's hall is on extreme right. CWS Brush Factory to the left, later Alf Cooke's printers.
